When we meet a client for the first time we learn about where they are and where they want to get to.  They tell us about their family, their career and their personal vision for the future.  We hear about their history and their concerns.  We ask about their assets, their income and their lifestyle.  We learn about their relationship with money and how they would like it to serve their needs, wants and wishes.  We are keen to understand their perspective, as this enables us to enhance their financial outcomes.

Classifying Assets into Categories

We classify assets into three main categories - liquidity assets, property assets and business assets.  Each client is different and may have any combination of these assets.  However, we are able to suggest, arrange and manage change to improve their position.  Liquidity assets can include savings, pensions and investments.  Property assets often comprise a main residence and may include rental holdings plus a second home.  Business assets are usually made up of shares in a company or partnership.

Client Assets are Often Collected

Client assets are often collected over the course of their lifetime, either directly, or with the guidance of a traditional financial adviser.  In contrast, we believe that a client's wealth can accomplish more than the basic sum of its assets.  There is no doubt that a collection of assets is a good starting point, despite this, a strategic approach to wealth can go much further to elevate people and purpose.  We have honed our strategic approach for over 20 years, helping each client put the right wealth, in the rights hands at the right time.

We Think Beyond the Traditional

We think beyond the traditional, where assets are collected from time to time.  We always consider the lifetime consequences of acquiring, retaining and disposing any asset.  Our clients want us to identify the advantages and limitations of their alternatives.  They need us to ensure they follow a robust Wealth Road Map.  They rely on us for overarching foresight and multi-faceted technical capability.

Particular Life Stage or Life Event

Our clients talk to us when they come to a fork in the road, at a particular life stage or due to a specific life event.

Our clients may be at a particular life stage:- Building up to retirement;
- On the cusp of retirement;
- Single due to a recent loss;
- Preparing for care funding.

Or, may be dealing with a specific life event:- Divorce settlement;
- Receiving inheritance;
- Personal injury claim.

Or, may be anticipating a capital sum after:- Selling their business;
- Disposing of property.
